Ten Carat Reign — 10ct Natural Ruby (Yaqoot) Ring in 925 Silver
Natural Ruby
Genuine gemstone, not glass or synthetic
925 Sterling Silver
Solid sterling silver, not plated base metal
A ten-carat ruby does not ask permission. It arrives, and the room adjusts.
The stone
Ten carats of natural ruby, oval cut, deep crimson turning violet where the light leaves it. Look closely and you will find the internal landscape that natural corundum carries — silk, faint clouding, the quiet evidence of chromium and pressure and geological time.
These are not flaws. They are the reason a natural stone at this size exists at all, and the reason yours will never be identical to the photograph or to anyone else's.
The setting
Four sculpted crescent prongs cradle the ruby rather than gripping it, leaving the girdle open so light enters from beneath and returns through the stone rather than bouncing off it. Clusters of moissanite climb both shoulders in a deliberately unruly arrangement — a court around a throne, gathered rather than marshalled.
The metal
925 sterling silver, rhodium-plated to a bright white that carries the ruby's colour without arguing with it. Replated free, for the life of the ring.
Handcrafted in Saddar
Cast, set, filed, and finished by hand at the bench our family has worked since 1947. Three generations, one address.
Ruby is the birthstone of July, and known across the subcontinent as yaqoot — the stone of the sun, of vitality, of people who take up room.
