Third generation jewellers since 1947. The rings here are part of our complete neelam stone jewellery collection, which also holds the lockets, studs and bangles.

      About natural sapphire (neelam)

Blue sapphire — neelam in Urdu and Persian — is one of the four precious gemstones alongside diamond, ruby, and emerald. It ranks 9 on the Mohs hardness scale, making it the second hardest coloured gemstone after ruby (also 9 Mohs) and ideal for daily wear. Sapphires range from the palest pastel blue to rich royal blue to deep navy and near-black — each shade carrying its own character. The colour comes from traces of iron and titanium within the corundum crystal, formed over millions of years under the earth. In Pakistani and South Asian tradition, neelam is associated with wisdom, truth, protection, and clarity of thought, and is one of the most spiritually significant gemstones worn across the subcontinent.

      Blue sapphire price in Pakistan

Loose natural sapphire in the Pakistani market runs from roughly Rs. 3,000 per carat for heavily treated commercial stone, through Rs. 15,000–60,000 per carat for honest Ceylon mid-grade, to Rs. 60,000–250,000+ per carat for fine certified material — and an uncertified "unheated" claim is worth nothing. A finished Zanvari neelam ring costs Rs. 6,200 to Rs. 58,900, because the stone sits in 925 sterling silver rather than tola-rate gold: your money goes into the sapphire and the craft. The full market breakdown, grade by grade, is in our blue sapphire price guide for Pakistan.

      Understanding sapphire colour

Natural sapphires vary across a wide colour spectrum. Pastel blues offer a soft, serene quality. Royal blue — the classic sapphire hue — balances depth and brightness in a universally admired shade. Navy and midnight blue sapphires carry a more dramatic, introspective character. At Zanvari, natural variation in colour is expected and is the proof of authenticity — no two natural sapphires are ever identical.

      Frequently asked questions

What is the price of sapphire in Pakistan?

Loose natural blue sapphire runs from roughly Rs. 3,000 per carat for commercial treated stone to Rs. 60,000–250,000+ per carat for fine certified Ceylon material. Finished neelam rings in this collection cost Rs. 6,200 to Rs. 58,900, stone and setting included.

How much is a 1 carat blue sapphire worth?

It depends almost entirely on grade and certification: a commercial treated 1-carat stone may cost a few thousand rupees, an honest Ceylon mid-grade Rs. 15,000–60,000, and a fine certified stone several lakhs. Per-carat pricing is not linear — large clean sapphires are rare, so a 3-carat stone costs far more per carat than three 1-carat stones.

Is blue sapphire more expensive than diamond?

Fine certified sapphire can exceed diamond per carat, but most commercial-grade sapphire is far cheaper. At Zanvari the comparison is friendlier still: a natural sapphire in 925 silver starts at Rs. 6,200 — a fraction of any diamond ring.

      Are Zanvari's sapphires natural?

The sapphires in this collection are genuine earth-mined natural stones — not synthetic, not glass. Certification is stone by stone rather than blanket: Dreamy Sapphire Dangles carries a GGI report from a Karachi laboratory that can be verified online, and for any other stone we can have a report drawn before the piece ships — ask before you order and we will confirm what that stone carries.

What shade of blue will my sapphire be?

Natural sapphires range from light cornflower blue to deep royal blue and beyond. At Zanvari, the atelier selects stones within the range shown for each design. If you have a preference for a specific tone, contact 0342 8269771 on WhatsApp before ordering.

Is sapphire suitable for an engagement ring?

Yes. Sapphire is one of the most popular engagement ring stones globally — ranked 9 on the Mohs scale, it is extremely durable for daily wear. Zanvari's sapphire halo ring is directly inspired by Princess Diana's famous sapphire engagement ring, which is now worn by Princess Catherine.

      Is COD available in Pakistan?

Yes. COD is available on select designs. Contact 0342 8269771 on WhatsApp to confirm before ordering.

      How long does delivery take?

Production takes 10–16 business days. Delivery across Pakistan takes 3–5 weeks. WhatsApp updates provided throughout.
