Silver & Care
What 925 means, why silver behaves the way it does, and how to keep it bright.

Sizing & Fit
Zanvari rings are sized by inner diameter in millimetres — one measurement gets it right.
Quick answers
Is moissanite a real diamond?
No — and it isn't sold as one. Moissanite is a real gemstone in its own right: lab-created silicon carbide, nearly as hard as diamond (9.25 on the Mohs scale) with even more brilliance, at a fraction of the price. Read the full moissanite vs diamond comparison.
Is 925 sterling silver real silver?
Yes. Sterling silver is 92.5% pure silver alloyed with 7.5% other metals for strength — the international standard for fine silver jewellery. The 925 hallmark is the mark of authenticity.
What is a GRA card?
GRA is a grading lab that specialises in moissanite — GIA, the diamond lab, does not grade moissanite at consumer scale, so the two serve different stones rather than competing on the same one. For natural gemstones, Zanvari uses GGI, a Karachi lab whose certificates can be verified online.
How do I find my ring size at home?
Zanvari rings are sized by inner diameter in millimetres (16–21MM). Measure a ring that already fits against a ruler, or use the printable chart in the ring size guide.
Why did my silver jewellery turn dark?
That is tarnish — a natural surface reaction between silver and moisture or perfume, not a fault in the metal. It polishes away. The silver care guide covers safe home methods and prevention.
How can I tell if a gemstone is original?
Certification you can verify beats any home test — every home check has counterfeits that pass it; a lab certificate with online verification does not. Our guides to spotting fake silver and checking yaqoot and aqeeq stones cover both.
Which finger should a ring be worn on?
Engagement and wedding rings are worn on the ring finger in Pakistan — left or right varies by family custom. In South Asian tradition, stone rings like aqeeq are often worn on the ring or little finger of the right hand; each stone's guide covers its own tradition.
Does Zanvari deliver cash on delivery?
Yes — cash on delivery is available across Pakistan, and every piece is made to order in our Karachi workshop. See Delivery & Shipping for timelines.
