Our Story

A workshop older than the country

Zanvari was born in 1947 — the same year Pakistan was. Three generations later, we are still in Saddar, still making every piece by hand.

1947

A family workshop opens in Saddar, Karachi.

Second

The craft passes from grandfather to father.

Third

The same bench, the same hands, a new century.

What was handed down

What began as a family workshop devoted to the art of handcrafted silver has grown, across three generations, into one of Pakistan’s most trusted jewellery houses.

What passed from grandfather to father to son was never only technique. It was a conviction: that jewellery should be made with intention, set with genuine stones, and built to outlast the person who buys it.

Every piece begins as a conversation — between the maker and the metal, between the stone and its setting, between the jeweller and the person who will wear it.

How we work

We work in 925 sterling silver, the international standard for fine silver jewellery, finished with rhodium or 22k gold plating. Nothing we sell is silver‑plated base metal. The hallmark means what it says.

Our natural gemstones — ruby, emerald, sapphire, amethyst, topaz, citrine, turquoise, freshwater pearl — are chosen one at a time, for clarity and character, before they find a setting. Where a piece uses cubic zirconia or glass instead, the product description says so. We would rather tell you than have you discover it.

Our moissanite is D/VVS1, the highest colour and clarity grade made, and every moissanite piece arrives with its GRA grading card as proof.

Made after you order it

Zanvari keeps no warehouse of finished pieces. Nothing sits in a box waiting for a buyer. When you order, a karigar begins.

That is why our pieces take weeks rather than days — the crafting time for each design is stated on its product page. It is not a limitation. It is the entire point.

Your jewellery was made for you, not for whoever happened to order first.

What we promise afterwards

Lifetime replating, free

Plating fades with years of wear. We replate any piece we have ever made — white rhodium, yellow gold, rose gold — at no cost, for as long as you own it. This has never been a promotion.

We will buy it back

Any Zanvari piece, any time, for as long as we exist: half of what you paid as exchange credit, or thirty percent in cash. Silver in Pakistan is treated as money spent. Ours is not. Read the terms.

Thirty days to change your mind

If a size is wrong we exchange it, engraved pieces included. Full terms on the returns page.

Real gems. Pure silver.

Zanvari exists because jewellery should mean something — not merely look right on the day it arrives, but carry weight, emotional and personal, for decades afterwards.

Since 1947, three generations of Zanvari jewellers have believed this. Every ring, bangle, necklace and pair of earrings we make carries that belief forward.

We are not the cheapest option. We are the right one.
