A morning dew drop on a leaf — spherical, suspended, holding the light of an entire sky in a circle smaller than a fingernail. The Falling Dew Pendant was designed around that image.

The Falling Dew Pendant by Zanvari features a 1-carat round brilliant moissanite set in a dewdrop-inspired frame in 925 sterling silver with white gold plating. GRA certified. The dewdrop setting cradles the moissanite within a teardrop-shaped frame that mirrors the shape and suspended quality of morning dew. Rs. 14,800. Made to order in Karachi by Zanvari, third generation jewellers since 1947.

The dewdrop setting

The frame of the Falling Dew Pendant is shaped as a dewdrop — a teardrop outline in silver that cradles the moissanite within its interior. The frame's inner edge holds the stone with minimal contact, so the moissanite sits as though suspended inside the silver outline rather than gripped by it. This creates the pendant's characteristic visual quality: the stone appears to float within its frame, the silver outline giving the impression of a teardrop in motion — a single drop of morning dew suspended at the exact moment before it falls.

D VVS1 moissanite — GRA certified

The 1-carat moissanite is D colour (completely colourless) and VVS1 clarity (no inclusions visible under 10x magnification). The GRA certificate confirming these specifications is included in the Rs. 14,800 price. This is the same grade Zanvari uses across its entire moissanite collection — there is no lower-grade option.

Care instructions

Store in the Zanvari box when not wearing. Apply perfume before putting the pendant on. Wipe with a soft dry cloth after wear. Keep away from pools and harsh chemicals. White gold replating covered by Zanvari's lifetime guarantee at no charge.

Frequently asked questions

What does the GRA certificate confirm?

The GRA (Gemological Research Association) certificate confirms the stone is genuine D VVS1 moissanite — not cubic zirconia, not glass. It is included in the Rs. 14,800 price at no additional charge.

Is this suitable for daily wear?

Yes. At 1 carat in a clean dewdrop frame, the Falling Dew Pendant is light enough for daily wear, distinctive enough to be noticed. The white gold plating protects the silver finish under normal daily conditions.

What is Moissanite?

Moissanite is a stunning, lab-created gemstone known for its brilliance, fire, and durability — making it one of the best alternatives to diamonds.

Is Moissanite a Diamond?

No. Moissanite is not a diamond, and it’s not “fake” either.

It’s a separate gemstone with its own chemical makeup (silicon carbide), but it’s often used as a diamond alternative due to its near-identical look.

FAQs

Brilliance and fire — it sparkles even more than a diamond because it has a higher refractive index (2.65 vs diamond’s 2.42).

More affordable, making it popular for men’s rings that need to be large and bold without a huge price tag.

No, Moissanite does not lose its sparkle. Its brilliance is permanent and will continue to shine for a lifetime with proper care.

To the naked eye, moissanite looks almost identical to a diamond. Only a trained gemologist can usually tell the difference.

Yes. Moissanite is one of the hardest gemstones on earth (rated 9.25 on the Mohs scale, just below diamonds at 10). With proper care, your moissanite necklace will maintain its beauty for a lifetime.
