The ring is mounted with a 5-8 carat natural Yemeni aqeeq (عقیق یمنی) — the most sought-after variety of aqeeq, valued for its depth of colour. Zanvari is focused to provide you the quality so we only work in sterling silver 925 neatly polished with rhodium plating to bring out the finesse look. Yemeni aqeeq ranges from warm orange-red to deep maroon, sometimes with faint natural banding. No two stones are alike. Aqeeq has been worn on the hands of men across the Muslim world for centuries, and the Yemeni stone in particular has been the one people sought out and passed down.

Care note: Aqeeq scores around 6.5-7 on the Mohs scale. Remove the ring before manual work, avoid ultrasonic and steam cleaners and harsh chemicals, and clean with a soft damp cloth.
