Why the Asscher cut is special
Born in 1902 in Amsterdam and beloved through the Art-Deco era, the Asscher is a square step-cut with cropped corners that read almost octagonal. Its large, parallel facets and high crown create a mesmerizing hall-of-mirrors effect—less “glitter” than brilliants, more refined flashes that reward clean crystal and precise cutting.
Materials & craftsmanship
Ring is handmade by Zanvari artisans in 925 sterling silver, finished with rhodium plating for brightness and durability, and set with your choice of premium moissanite (D–VVS1) or natural diamond. The Asscher’s open table and step-facets spotlight the stone’s architecture—so we obsess over symmetry, polish, and secure prong architecture that preserves those clipped corners. (Step-cuts display inclusions more readily; our selection prioritizes clarity and cut.)
We keep a near-square length-to-width ratio and a balanced table/crown so the stone reads bold and architectural on the hand—the signature look connoisseurs love in Asschers.
For any fancy cut stone, we require 2000 in advance to initiate the process due to scarcity.
Made-to-order: This means the items are not pre-produced and are instead assembled or crafted after a customer places an order.
12-16 BUSINESS DAYS: This is the typical turnaround time for most items. Business days exclude weekends and holidays. So, if you order on a Friday, the 12-day clock wouldn't typically start until the following Monday.
DELIVERY TIME: As it is made on order so delivery time is upto 3-5 weeks.
