What the glow means
Violet at the centre, white fire all around it. The Amethyst Glow Ring is named for the way a coloured stone behaves inside a halo — the ring of moissanite throws light inward across the amethyst, lifting its colour rather than competing with it. Amethyst was one of the five cardinal gems for two thousand years, worn by monarchs and bishops alongside ruby and emerald, until the Brazilian deposits of the 1800s made it affordable. Nothing about the stone changed — only the price.
The halo effect
The ring of moissanite accents surrounding the centre stone creates what jewellers call a halo effect. The halo does two things simultaneously: it makes the centre stone appear significantly larger by framing it in light, and it adds sparkle from every angle so the ring is never dark or dull regardless of how it is positioned. A 4mm centre stone in a halo setting looks considerably larger and more elaborate than a 4mm solitaire alone. It is the most effective way to maximise visual impact at a moderate price point.
Care instructions
Keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight — amethyst's colour can fade with sustained UV exposure over months and years, which matters more in Karachi than in most places. Store in an anti-tarnish pouch rather than on a sunlit windowsill. Avoid perfume, lotion and hairspray, and never use ultrasonic or steam cleaners. Wipe gently with a soft cloth.
