Why a clover

A four-leaf clover appears roughly once in every five thousand three-leaf clovers. That is the whole of its meaning: not that luck is guaranteed, but that it is rare and worth looking for. The four leaves have been read for centuries as faith, hope, love and luck — one for each petal.

It is a good thing to wear at the ear, where it sits small and close and is noticed by people standing near enough to be talking to you. These are studs for daily wear rather than occasion pieces: light, secure, and the sort of thing you stop taking off.

About the moissanite

Every stone in these studs is moissanite — a genuine gemstone made of silicon carbide, scoring 9.25 on the Mohs hardness scale, second only to diamond. It refracts light more intensely than diamond does, breaking it into a full colour spectrum, which is why a pavé field of small moissanites reads as bright as it does at this size.

Its brilliance is permanent. It will not cloud, dull, yellow or fade with wear, and it does not need replacing. Zanvari uses moissanite for every accent and side stone across the collection.

Care instructions

Put earrings on last, after perfume and hairspray. Store in an anti-tarnish pouch when not wearing. Clean with a soft brush and warm soapy water, paying attention to the underside of the pavé where the stones sit. Zanvari's lifetime rhodium replating guarantee covers the plating for life, and workmanship is covered for six months.

Frequently asked questions

What are the stones?

Moissanite — a real gemstone in its own right, not a simulant. Silicon carbide, 9.25 on the Mohs scale, with more fire than diamond and a sparkle that is permanent.

Are these suitable for everyday wear?

Yes — they were designed for it. Studs sit flush at the ear with nothing to catch, the moissanite is hard enough to resist everyday scratching, and the pavé stones are individually bead-set rather than glued.

Is the price for one earring or the pair?

The pair. Rs. 8,800 buys both studs.

What is Moissanite?

Moissanite is a stunning, lab-created gemstone known for its brilliance, fire, and durability — making it one of the best alternatives to diamonds.

Is Moissanite a Diamond?

No. Moissanite is not a diamond, and it’s not “fake” either.

It’s a separate gemstone with its own chemical makeup (silicon carbide), but it’s often used as a diamond alternative due to its near-identical look.

FAQs

Brilliance and fire — it sparkles even more than a diamond because it has a higher refractive index (2.65 vs diamond’s 2.42).

More affordable, making it popular for men’s rings that need to be large and bold without a huge price tag.

No, Moissanite does not lose its sparkle. Its brilliance is permanent and will continue to shine for a lifetime with proper care.

To the naked eye, moissanite looks almost identical to a diamond. Only a trained gemologist can usually tell the difference.

These earrings are crafted in 925 sterling silver and plated with rhodium, which resists tarnish and enhances shine. Proper care keeps them glowing.
