Why an oval?
An oval spreads its weight along the finger rather than across it, so a two-carat oval reads visibly larger than a two-carat round — and its length makes the hand look longer and the finger slimmer, which is why it has become the most requested fancy shape for engagement rings. It keeps the fire of a brilliant cut with none of the sharp corners that need protecting, and on a slim band with nothing else competing, the stone does all the talking. Hence the name.
What is a lab-grown diamond?
A lab-grown diamond is a real diamond. It is pure carbon in the same crystal structure as a mined diamond, with the same hardness (10 on the Mohs scale), the same brilliance, and the same grading scale — it is grown over weeks in a laboratory instead of over a billion years underground. A gemologist cannot tell the two apart by eye; only specialist equipment can. What changes is the price: a lab-grown stone costs a fraction of a mined one of the same grade, and comes with none of the mining.
Why silver, and not gold?
Because the stone is the point. A two-carat D-colour diamond in a heavy gold setting would add lakhs for metal that sits under the stone. Care instructions
Store in the Zanvari box when not wearing. Put the ring on last, after perfume and lotion. Wipe with a soft microfibre cloth; a diamond can also be cleaned in warm water with a drop of mild soap and a soft brush. Rhodium plating will naturally wear with daily use — Zanvari's lifetime replating guarantee means this is never a concern.
Frequently asked questions
Are lab-grown diamonds real diamonds?
Yes. Chemically, physically and optically they are diamond — pure carbon, 10 on the Mohs scale, graded on the same colour and clarity scale as mined stones. The only difference is origin, which is disclosed on the laboratory report.
Do oval diamonds show a "bow-tie"?
Every oval can show a faint darker band across its middle at some angles. Ours are selected to keep it minimal, and on the hand it is not something you will notice in wear.
Is this the same as moissanite?
No. Moissanite is a different gemstone (silicon carbide) with more fire and a lower price; most of Zanvari's range is moissanite and we say so plainly on every page. Does it pass a diamond tester?
Yes — it is diamond. A standard thermal tester reads it as diamond because it is; only specialist origin-testing equipment distinguishes lab-grown from mined.
How do I find my ring size?

How long does delivery take in Pakistan?
