A round-cut natural Ceylon sapphire held in four claws, with a second band lifting away from the shank and curving over the stone in a full row of pavé moissanite. The split shank is what makes this ring — the crescent of white light frames the blue without crowding it, and the ring reads slim on the hand despite the double band. Handcrafted by our karigars in Saddar, Karachi, and engraved ZANVARI on the inner band.

Sri Lanka — Ceylon — has produced blue sapphire for over two thousand years, and Ceylon material is prized for a lighter, brighter cornflower blue than the inkier stones from other origins. That brightness is why it holds its colour indoors and under artificial light, where darker sapphires can close up and read almost black.
Sapphire is corundum, 9 on the Mohs scale — second only to diamond — which makes it one of the most practical natural stones to wear every day. It is the September birthstone, and in the subcontinent Neelam (نیلم) has long been worn for clarity of thought and discipline.
