      Moonstone is the only stone in our workshop that changes while you look at it. Tilt it, and a soft blue light drifts across the surface and disappears — adularescence, caused by light scattering between microscopic layers inside the feldspar crystal. No two stones carry the same glow, and no photograph fully catches it.

      Every ring in this collection is built around a natural moonstone cabochon, cut domed rather than faceted so the sheen has somewhere to move. The stones are set by our karigars in Saddar, Karachi, in pure 925 sterling silver with rhodium plating, and paired with moissanite where a piece calls for brilliance alongside the moon's softer light.

      Moonstone is the June birthstone, traditionally worn for intuition, calm and new beginnings — which is why it has always been a quieter alternative to a diamond for people who want their ring to feel like theirs alone.

      Wearing and caring for moonstone

      Moonstone is softer than sapphire, ruby or moissanite, so it asks for a little more care than the rest of our natural-stone rings. Take yours off before household chores, swimming or applying perfume, and store it apart from harder stones. Wipe it with a soft cotton or microfibre cloth — never a chemical dip.

      Choosing your size
